FLAW 1.2.1 released
A small christmas package for you ;-)
This is mainly a bugfix release. There was a stupid bug that caused the game to use more memory than needed. Along with small optimisations and some tiny new features, I decided that this is worth another release.
Memory usage has been improved drastically with this version (especially at low screen resolutions), so the overall performance of the game should be much better if you are low on memory.

Changelog:
* bugfix: correctly free unused memory after scaling
-> radically decreases memory usage
* players can skip a round and show the result by pressing the Z key
-> useful if no more human players are alive
* "loading" message instead of black screen
* optimized walking animation (had too many frames)

New Homepage
The FLAW homepage has a new design. We have replaced the old minimalist homepage by a new one. It is more clearly arranged and has a simple news blog (yeah, the one you are reading right now!)
So from now on, gamers won't have to visit our sourceforge development page to read the latest news about the game.

F.L.A.W. 1.2 released!
Finally, a new Version of FLAW has been released.
Graphics have been vastly improved for this release. The game now supports screen resolutions from 320x240 to 1280x1024 and comes with many small improvements and bugfixes, a nicer menu, more sounds and animations.
Changelog:
* support different screen resolutions (from 320x240 to 1280x1024)
* re-rendered graphics and animations for high resolutions
* dropped 8 bit mode
* new "winner" animation
* various graphic improvements
* game can be paused
* better menu performance (no lags etc.)
* menu background
* more music
* command line options for fullscreen/windowed and configuration reset:
--fullscreen, --windowed, --reset (or -f, -w, -r)
* fixed bug: scoreboard would never show up when the game was over
before any fireballs appeared (e.g. very early fire wizard)
